The government has revoked the licenses of 516 bars operating within residential areas in Nairobi
Nairobi Provincial Commissioner Francis Sigei said the move followed complaints from members of the public over the noise pollution emanating from such facilities.
The revocation of the licenses was reached during a meeting of the Liquor Licensing court in Nairobi last month.
